FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
BBF Integrated Solutions is now Triple Chain-of-Custody Certified
BBF Integrated Solutions has announced that they are now a triple-certified FSC, SFI, and PEFC Chain of Custody printer.
BBF Integrated Solutions, a Clondalkin Group company, is now among a number of responsible companies who are concerned about the impact of the printing industry on the environment and have chosen to take action. “This certification requires us to take responsibility for our actions by improving our operations,” said Don Huttlin, CEO of BBF Integrated Solutions. “We are driven by our belief in the value of conserving the planet’s resources. From a customer perspective, one can be sure that when printing with BBF they are also doing their part to protect the environment.”
Chain of Custody (CoC) is the process by which certified forest products are verified to have come from properly managed and sustainable sources. CoC is the path taken by raw materials from the forest to the final consumer including all of the successive stages in between.
BBF Integrated Solutions has met the rigorous requirements necessary to obtain the FSC, SFI, and PEFC Certifications. This demonstrates an exacting level of proficiency in product traceability, product storage and handling, invoicing, and record keeping through on-site audits by accredited third-party verifiers.
